Employment Park

Persons with disabilities (PWD’s) people are not deferent from any other people in the society. Within an appropriate environment, they can perform their job in an expected manner. They can learn a new skill, fulfil job demand, satisfy their employer and support their family.

More than 13 million PWD’s people live in Bangladesh. By virtue of their impairment the large numbers of people are excluded from normal activities of life like education and employment. In most cases, they are unable to return to their previous profession. PWD’s Women are often deserted by their husbands, replaced by a new wife, and often rejected by their family as well as society.

There are a few Organisations working with disabled field, especially employment-oriented sector like Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP). Therefore science its inception in 1979 CRP has been running a vocational training facility in its premises which graduate trainee up to 4000 No. In addition, male female gender ratio is 60% to 40%. Now Bangladesh Technical Educational Board (BTEB) affiliates it.

If PWD’s people are given the skills, training, and support credit with good environment to support their families they can live independent lives as active members of the community.
